First live edge table
Hi All, Long time lurker and first real project I felt I could post..
Camphor Laurel live edge hall table made with scrap floor boards and bed boards I found on the side of the road... I was donated the Camphor board by a mate.
Wanted to also say thanks heaps to all for all the information/inspiration from these forums.....

Striking grain pattern on the Camphor Laurel,well done now that you also have an added feature table in your home.

Thank you.... Actually the back edge lip is routed on the wrong edge, i.e it's upside down. I wanted the grain to run continuously up the back lip but I messed it up...
Finish I used a number of coats of shellac with a light sanding between, then a combination of water based poly and linseed oil, and finally a cabinet makers wax...
The legs are actually pine bed boards laminated together and stained with a Jarrah stain then they received the same treatment.... lots of techniques I learned here or youtube. I hope it stands the test of time....
