Possible door sag
Hi guys,
Been doing my extension and tonight im not sure if i noticed a bit of sag in my cedar french doors.
The doors are 2.7 high, 42mm thick, approx 800 wide and have 6mm laminated glass.
They are fixed into 42mm thick cedar frames with 3 parliament hinges on each side. These hinges are about 5mm thick and each leaf is approx 100mm wide. Giving a reasonable stick out.
There are 6 doors all up (3 pairs) and they all seem quite solid. I could be dreaming it but does the above setup seem structurally ok for the door sizes. I didnt really want to go 4 hinges because i dont think they need it - maybe im wrong.
Can post a link to the hinges if it helps.
Would appreciate some feed back from those who have fitting bigger than norm doors.
Much appreciated!!
