Picture Frame Clamps
One of the things I have struggled with is making frames for my scroll pictures. I struggle for a easy, CHEAP method to clamp the frames while gluing them together. I think I have finally found a shop made clamp, that is easy to make, only costs some scrap wood and a little time. Here is a short video that I found on Youtube that shows the clamp. I made a couple of them last night after watching this video and darn they seem to work great. I'd like to shake this guys had for thinking this up!

PLD,
I made a jig like this one.....Old Fashion Way
It works a treat...I did one on each side of the base board for different frame sizes. Easy to adjust the squareness. I got a great result on these........

I will send pics of my jig within the next couple of days

Skot, I saw that video when I was looking for frame clamps and thought it was a great one. The main reason I chose the ones I did over that method was storage. I have a small shop and space is at a premium. your method would mean more storage room to keep the jig. The ones I chose fit very nicely in a little cigar box..

A very handy tip from the olden days. Especially for those multi-cornered frames. I've often wondered how they did that.

Chris,
I'll have to ask the wife...she is a photographer of fine art nudes and technically it is her copyright.
How do you need the pattern....wife just reduced it to B&W from her original photo....is that all you need or do you require more tones.
Can you link to your Lady in Black ...does it show the type of pattern used for you LIB ?
Cheers
Scott

Here are the Jigs I made for the framing. I had some adhesive backed sandpaper that I stuck to the wedges for grip....A3 on left.....A4 on right. They are on the either side of the same base board

Hi Scott,
B&W would be fine, I wouldn't be able to do it exactly like your scrollsaw, but would need to adapt it to the marquetry. The Lady is at https://www.woodworkforums.com/showthread.php?t=188700, and I intend to do the style as a theme for a few pictures.
PLD, I apologies for the hijack.Chris
