Get a chip heater or if you don't like the idea of having a fire in the shed, all the places that sell cheap chinese stuff have oil filled electric heaters for $34.95 at present.
I've been out to the shed & cleared up enough room for another bloke to fit in 'cos Borer's coming to vist next week.... he's roughly the size of a wheelie bin & that's about how much sheyet I chucked out.

A pair of wetsuit gloves will keep your hands warm without being cumbersome like ordinary work gloves.
