Hi Guys,
We are look at a possible house extension worth around 250K maybe more. There are a few different approaches to it and was wondering if there was a sub-forum here where I can get some advice (you guys have been so helpful in the past with my DIY queries). In a nutshell I want to know how I got about this project with some options here that I am aware of

1. Go to Extension Factory which are an all in one company doing the design, management and building of the project.
2. Go to an architect and pay $$$ for working drawings and additional documentation like materials/finishes and give to different builders to tender/quote on.
3. Go to a building designer and basically go through #2, but probably end up paying less.

Anyway, won't put too much more details here, in case this is the incorrect sub-forum.

Thanks,
Ray
