Books on Finishing
I know there is a plethora of books by so called egg spurts regarding what to do for a good finish. I don't mind buying one or two books, but i would like to know from board members which book would be the most suitable for me. I am working with myrtle, blackwood and tassy oak. I have been using DO and various stains but am not sure if it is possible to use DO, stains and finish it with something else. What goes on first and what can be put on after to obtain a SH finish?? Can someone recommend the best manual to me?

Neil's book is the bibleIf at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.
