Cheap bench build - hand tools only

I used my rabbet plane to cut the rebates.

But we haven't seen the tool ???
How do we know you aren't cheating if we don't see the evidence ?

Getting closer to finishing my bench.

Things to do for completion include:

- Shiplapped bottom shelf to go in

- Final bench top flattening (close to flat but a couple of high spots to sort out)

- End/tail vice to be fully installed (currently just sitting in place)

- workbench finish (oil/varnish blend)

I'm not sure how to show the photo's the right way up ! Can a mod fix this, I don't want to be billed by members for their chiropractor bills ?

ps Greg i forgot to take the photo of my rabbet plane for you, will make sure it's sitting on my bench for the completed photoshoot
