Default Breastmilk disolves Ubeaut traditional wax.

(On a pine toybox with an organoil finish underneath.)

Thats all I have to say!

Doesn't want to appear a boob by saying anything silly (he he he titter titter ) and causing people to try and keep a breast, and make rude comments, or milk this thread, without needing, better to keep it all bottled up.

Very funny Ashore, the system tells me that I've recently given you a greenie. I cant imagine what for

The question is, how do I fix the problem? A peg??

No seriously theres a small patch thats gone opaque and raised a bit, I'm sure I could scrape it off. Do I scrape it off around the..umm ....damage and then just buff some more wax into it?
    Cheers,

    Adam,

All jokes aside, was it regurgitated milk or not. Perhaps if it was regurgitated, there could be acids etc contained in what spilt on the box.

Have you tried experimenting with cows milk or formula milk on a test piece?

Perhaps Neil could do a study on the topic and perhaps gain his Phd.

Dr UBeaut - we would need a prescription to buy the UBeaut products!

Was this from initial supply breast milk or that which has been returned after use.

    ie Drip or spit.

Believe it or not, it wasnt actually my wifes.
A lady from her mothers group was over and here 2month old puked a bit of bm onto the toybox. Not sure wether it contained much acid. If it come straight back up then its usually the same as it went down but if it's been a while since theyve fed then it smells, well, like puke.

Perhaps you're right and it's the acid content?

PS: How could anyone possibly consider having another baby so soon (10 months) Youd have to be a nutcase!
    Cheers,

    Adam

    Lefty

I haven't used it my self and am looking forward to getting some EEE at the newcastle wood show , but from what i've rean in other posts this polish may just do the trick , then again I don't know how you would go in just one spot you may have to do the whole top
The other out , seeing its a toy box , could you cover the damaged area with a vinal sticker of bob the builder or similar

Any moisture will generally mark a waxed finish.

Rub it out with EEE followed by some wax again.

Maybe the reason why the baby brought it up was because his mom was hi on metho when she fed him. The metho made him puke and then dissolved the wax.
