    Default Concrete Stain Remover

Anyone know of something that will remove soaked in oil from concrete?
I have tried standard degreaser and pressure cleaning and that did sod all so I need something strong.

Caustic soda will strip out any organics, but if you're already down to very fine particulate carbon you may be able to lift this with a poultice of lime and kero left for several days.

Agree with MS, also cover the poultice with some plastic ( glad wrap is fine) and tape down around edges. This will stop it drying out too quick.

This tip is from Shannon Lush.

Mix "Plaster of Paris" and water until it’s a similar consistency to peanut butter.

For every cup of mixture you make add one teaspoon of dish-washing liquid.

Paint no more than half an inch of mixture over the stain.

Leave it to dry and then sweep the mixture (and your stain) away.

Be careful of Shannon Lush, some of her advice is not worth using.

I'd say 'sweep' would be more like 'kick, curse and swear' and the leftover stuff would just be disguising the stain.
