Opening new tabs logs me out

I am finding that when I open a window in a new tab it opens without my log-on credentials, i.e. Flicks me. Now, there may be some who think that's fair enough - I'm an undesirable, but I think "not fair mate, I've filled in the password etc so WHY?"

Is it just me or is this happening to others?
i have tried with Safari on OSX and ios, with Chrome and with Firefox (though that is throwing a hissy fit with the latest install so I'll have to wait for it to calm down).
help please.

Must be just you for it's not happening to me.

Seriously did you remember to tick the "Remember me box" when logging on.
