Expanding foam/space invader in hard to reach areas
I've tried the search function without luck.
So I need to use expanding foam to fill a 20mm gap between our place and our neighbours place. it's wall to wall (about 20 metres) and a gable roof both sides. the point of sealing this gap is primarily due to sound travelling between tenancies.
I've managed to do some of it with the 20cm tube supplied with the can, however other parts of the wall are harder to access due to objects getting in the way. I really need to get my hands on a applicator tube that's about 1m in length so that i can complete the job without assuming the role of a contortionist.
I thought of grabbing a few straws from McDonalds (along with a happy meal of course) and joining them together, I also thought of using some sort of pvc pipe.
Whatever I use needs to be fairly rigid so that I can direct it into the gap from a distance.
any ideas?
