Yes, What an adventure !! And 900 K's for your saw , what a road trip that is !
It's a nice looking saw.
The one I have has no guards yet . and I bought another 30" Wadkin as well which will be worked on first .

Paul I was wrong about the grease nipple on the guide, Mine does have one.
The one I have has no guards yet .
Got a few minutes today and fixed the concrete

Unless you are dedicated to the heritage aspect you really should upgrade to a set of roller bearing guides, much better for accuracy and wear on the blades. No idea where you would get a set though, probably custom made.
