I agree with you, but this bench is being built as fast as time will allow (it will still be pretty steady). I've got a stash of spotted gum for a bench that will do roubo proud and I want to make it using hand tools. For now I just want a bench.
The McJing bed bolts look pretty good, but I got the piece of round bar for free and no charge to use the machines.If you find you have dug yourself a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.
I just finished child-proofing our house - but they still get inside.
