Phone Spam?

A few days ago I received the following SMS Message on my phone. I thought it was a wrong number, so I ignored it.

Hello, wat u up 2?

Today, I got a phone call and as soon as I answered, they hung up. I then got another SMS.

Hi sori 4 hangin up! N e ways u got a mis's i no sum1 dat likes u, u wana hook up wit her?

Followed by

Oh watta sad dude, dnt u wanna no hu likes u. N e ways un sur u like her 2! Wel u either dnt hav crdz or u dnt wana no u likes u. Rng dis hm no if wanna no hu it is.



Has anyone else got phone spam? It takes a little while to get the hang of reading the message. I'm not going to ring them back.

Grunt..sounds like some kid whos too lazy to check hes sending SMS's to the correct number.


Have had one or two similar messages.

Is the senders number coming up on your phone.....if so then give the person a call and give him a woodie style chew out.

I am almost willing to bet that if you take the bait they'll try and sell you viagra!

I just read a report on CNet that a well known Russian spammer was found beaten to death in his home. They are unsure whether it was a mafia link or some people who finally snapped from being spammed.

He did but I changed it after he moved in with Gumby. I felt so cheated. Unlike before when I felt sooo dirty.
