You Never Know Who You Will Meet.
Just the other day, I was searching for wood to make walking sticks, when I met this guy. He was searching for a cool place to rest and I wished him good luck on his trek.

Hah! What a beauty. I've been working on Juboticaba walking sticks this week and googled yesterday that Juboticaba means "place of the tortoise"
I include a pic of what's making the going a lot easier with this hard wood (made the sanding drum quite cheaply) and a link to pics of the fab tree itself.

Great photo!!
Jobaticaba eh Movay? Brazilian bush with wonderful fat, black cherry sized fruit. Yummm!
Fruit makes a pretty good alcoholic brew - if you are game!
To get the bush to fruit heavily give it a savage pruning.
