How right you are Willy... A couple of gentlemen of foreign descent bought every single burl in the round on offer. I estimate over 20. Their plan for their purchase is to carve Buddhas out of them. The same gentleman also came out to a local mill with great interest in purchasing as many jarrah logs as they can get their hands on... It's the way things are going these days..
The gentleman you mention from FPC was at the auction... Don't start me on that subject.
Fortunately I've just found the end to the zip that shuts my lips

I just got some Western Myall for pen blanks, very dark and dense timber from a fellow who won it at the Auctions at HArvey
