Default What not to do with a circular saw

I was cutting the top of a post today, at an angle with a Makita 9" saw and the offcut got caught in the guard.....

Yes....that is a saw tooth protruding through the guard.
Fortunately, I am always careful with things that bite and had 2 hands on and a solid grip. No harm done (to me).
Normally, I use a smaller saw for this type of work, but I had a 140mm post to cut so.....
Anyway folks, you never know when something like this will happen, so be careful.
    cheers,
    TM

Bloody hell Mike! Makes you wonder what could have happened. Nothing like a handsaw.

At least with a hand saw if it starts cutting you, you stop sawing.
