Woods not my thing ...
Well it's not really. So why am I here? Well, I do have a strong interest in music and electronics. I have just built my second tube amp now and this one's a little bigger. I'd prefer to not import a cabinet for it and so I was hoping to find somebody here in Perth that would find an amplifier cabinet fun to do in exchange for whatever ... So I thought I'd look around here. Anyway that's my story and I'm sticking to it

G'day TelePort, I just joined the forum too (2nd post).
I'm not in Perth, but I am interested in sharing information. I could make a cabinet for you, but the tyranny of distance and all that...
At some point in the future I hope to branch out into making valve amps myself, so it's possible we could help each other. Guitar wiring is not all that complicated, could just about do it with eyes closed, but amplifiers are another level of knowledge I don't possess.

Welcome to the forums.
Amp cases...here's one I prepared earlier in Tassie Blackwood.

This part of the forum is mainly used for the introduction. Welcome to the forum.
I might suggest posting a question in the Market Place sub-forum.
https://www.woodworkforums.com/forumd...ost&order=desc
Or if you desire you can post in General sub-forum asking for help in the build. Could just get you into woodworking.
