The Cooroora Woodworkers Wood & Craft Show
Saturday, May 9th and 10th.

The Cooroora Woodworkers Club will present the Annual Wood & Craft Show at the Memorial Hall in Cooroy on Friday and Saturday, May 9-10.
The show will feature outstanding examples of wood-turning, carving, scroll-saw work, pyrography and toy making as well as general wood woodwork such as cabinets, boxes and furniture.
For the fourth year in a row the Inter-club Competition will bring together one of the best displays of woodcraft in Queensland. Local high schools will also be participating.
In an expanded program the clubs wood-milling team will be in action in the Lowermill Precinct (adjacent to the Cooroy Log Maze) milling logs into slabs with the Lucas mill.
These slabs, fresh off the saw will be available for purchase. Seasoned and dressed slabs will also be available.
Also in the Lowermill Precinct the clubhouse and workshops will be open for inspection and some interesting demonstrations of woodworking techniques will take place.
In the clubhouse visitors will also be able to see the display of finely crafted items made by our members, many of which are for sale.
The raffle prize, a Glass Display Cabinet beautifully made by Bob Bennett , will be filled with beautifully handcrafted items made by club members.
The Wood & Craft Show is associated with Cooroy Fusion Festival.
