Helo from centran England
Hi Guys & Gals,
Just found your forum as it was liknked to a thread on UK Workshop, where I often visit. Not too long doing woodwork, as I retired 3 years ago and with my son showing interest in Routing, decided I should take up another hobby.
Aquired some toold, scrollsaw, bandsaw, Morticer and various hand tools and mainly putting together bandsaw boxes for a bit of fun. Built a couple and have a few on the go and today, my son Mark, made his first bandsaw box, with me leaning over him. He did a good job, so we have just ciome back from the sawmills up the road and spent yet more dosh on additional timber.
Previously into photography, which has slowed down over the last few months.
Married for 51 years and my lovely lady does a couple of days helping at a charity shop in the local town, as well as singing in a choir, whilst I do my own thing. We also have a daughter, married with two grandaughters 22 and 18. Thats me.

Welcome Alex, great to have another on board. Can't wait to see some of your work. Sounds like you will have to encourage Mark to join too if he has not already.

G'Day & Welcome "to the Great South Land" & to a top forum "Alex".
There are quite a few members from UK on the forum as well as across the rest of the world..
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [work in progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Well done on the 51yrs......looking forward to some of your photos....
Cheers from On Top DownUnder, crowie
