I remember making one of those folding leg bed trays at school woodwork.

    Hi,
the number of projects in these WWII issues of the magazine that feature items for Invalids, temporary furniture to house others, memorial plaques, repairing blast damaged doors and windows, gas-proofing the dog kennel, and furnishing your air raid shelter shows, I think, the extent to which the war affected everybody.

Hopefully yours was just a woodworking project, and not directed specifically at a casualty of war.

    Cheers,
    Chris.
