Whats the best method to take bottom and top window pane/frames out.

I have taken both out by removing the inside beading out for inside bottom window and the outside architrave for top window pane/frame.

Today I started on the secound window by again removing inside bead but this time also removed the middle bead.

I think the best would be removing the out side squirt as I will have to put the middle bead back in and paint after I have painted all prior.

Anyone got easier suggestions.

These are original so really need to come out to be sanded back and re installed.
