Looking for timber to veneer
Recently made this cabinet. I am fond of the oval shape in the drawer fronts. They are four consecutive 2.5 mm veneers (finished size 2 mm) cut from a single board of camphor laurel.

I am looking for timber that will give a similar effect for future cabinets. The shape created does not need to be oval, but that is preferred. The timber needs to give the same nice contrast between light and darker grain, so the effect is easily visible when looking from across a large room.
If you know where I can source such timber, please give me a yell.
Cheerio!
John
