Editing Posts?
I know that there is going to be an simple answer to this question and eveyone will be amazed at my stupidity! But how the hell do you edit your post when you realise that you have made a silly mistake.?(I thought long and hard before putting this in "Hints & Tips")
Regards
John.H.
P.S. Their are no such thing as silly questions only silly people that don't ask them!
I seem to remember someone in authority over me saying that in the dim and distant past, and no, I don,t know what it means either. But it seems to fit the bill.Jack the Lad.

Look at the top, third little box across to the right is a pencil and notepad, press that and edit away. It will return you to your original posting. When the addition or ommission is done resubmit and it will come up again on the BB with a message like the one below.
Yes, it worked, just hit the submit now for the reply cheers this
that one you can do too

At the top of each post is the time that particular post was posted to the board. After that there are four icons. The first is a face with a ? & that gives the posters details. The second in the envelope, thats the posters email address. The third is the paper and pen, this is the edit one for editing the post..... And the last one is to reply to that post with a qoute.....
HTH!!
Cheers...

Now how do you do those little smilies with the beer mugs! and how about the Bold lettering?
Is this a woodies B.B. or a beginners course in computers I hear you all ask.

John, This was brought up recently in the Announcements thread under 'Look out Sydney. HERE WE COME!'
There is a link to left of where you write your message that Says 'UBB Code is ON' Click that link and it will explain how to do Bold, Italic etc etc and also how to post an image which is all the two little smiley faces with beer mugs are. In essence you have to make a link to that image for it to show after you have submitted your message.
Heres the link to the UBB CODE. Just Click the underlined words and it will take you there directly.
HTH!
Cheers!
