Bosch PMF 180 E
For the first time in a long time I had a tool died on me today.
My Bosch Multifunction tool stopped working. It has been a tool I could call upon for the odd job and has lived in my car for when I needed it.
Yes I do work my tools hard when I need to, and this one was working away cutting flooring, and when I went to turn it on to use - nothing. The tool is just short of three years old.
It could well be the speed control that has died - spare part is about $84, new tool if I can get one about $99 from the green shed.

This morning (Sunday) I gave a couple of shops a phone call so as to be able to replace the Bosch PMF 180 E. Master's had no stock despite their website indicating the opposite. Bunnings had them on the shelf for $99. I also learnt that it was a deleted line, ie they are no longer making that model.
I bought a replacement as it will fit in the case and give me a few spare parts; tool holder screw, and sanding pad.
Let's see how long this one lasts.
