restoring a red cedar table and chairs
Now I have finished building and installing SWMBO's bookcase\wall unit I can now begin to restore this dining table and chairs.
My question is: IF I use Hard Shellac on the table and chairs, what gloss level will be achieved? SWMBO does not want a full gloss but wants a semi/satin gloss or even a matt finish.
Our original plan was to sand back the table and chairs and finish with a 2 pack paint finish. having striped back the old finish I kind of like the colour of the timber.
I know I should know the answer to this question however...... that is what the internet is for
KevI try and do new things twice.. the first time to see if I can do it.. the second time to see if I like it
