Dartboard Cabinet
A Christmas present made for a friend.Darboard Cabinet Open.jpgDartboard Cabinet Closed.jpg
The cabinet box is made of pine with a ply backboard, the inlay pattern on the doors is 1/8th pine, oak and jarrah veneer that I cut on the table saw.
Cork tiles line the box to help prevent darts bouncing back towards those of us that can't hit the board. The scoreboards are thin mdf panels painted with chalkboard paint.

Beautiful work. Reminds me of how much I miss playing darts since they removed the boards from most pubs and clubs. Is there a woodworking term for creating that sort of pattern on the front face?

Yep, I'd be your friend too if you make me one. Nice
Not sure how straight I could throw a dart though after looking at that door.
