Peter thanks for sharing those with us, good to see some familiar faces and those far away people who seem to just keep coming back.........glutens for punishment I guess.
My day was productive with some sidetracking required but all on track.

Thanks for the pics crowie, good stuff.
I think Tony may have left his chair here......and the left over magazines.
Thanks to all for coming along, it's what makes the day a success, particularly the very-long-distance people (DaveTTC and Bushmiller - great to meet Paul's wife Leanne as well).
Good to see some new faces as well: turnerted, rwbuild, groeneaj (although Andy's face is well familiar from other meetings).

I finally made it to a GTG today and now regret not getting to the previous ones.
Great host and hostess and good to meet people in person. Will get to next one and chat with those I didnt get a chance to today.
Me thinks fence furniture has just as much fun creating his man cave as any produced in it. I picked up some great ideas.
Your artistic flare to take mundane material/items and turn it into a character filled aesthetically pleasing workshop is to be admired
but to be so neat and tidy is a bit of a worry
Thanks everyone for a great dayThe person who never made a mistake never made anything
Cheers
Ray

Cheers Ray, and you're very welcome. You're quite right, I did have a lot of fun with the original "build"
And it's not a matter of being neat & tidy - it's forced upon me by the small size of the shed. Jeez, I was even able to leave some dust on the floor (proof of production) until around midday. In truth I only vacced it up because it was MDF dust and I was concerned for the members health.
Did anyone get a pic of that dust? I do have a couple of dozen witnesses, but I have some reservations about how forthcoming they might be with the truth.....

Home now. Had a great time.
Met a few new people. Was chewing the cud non stop and there were plenty I did I not get to spend the time with I would have liked to,others I only met when they left & and a few I did not even get to say g'day to at all.
2 days would have been great
Came home with some auger bits, pen blanks, bit of reading and some other odds and ends. I'll have to talk to Bret about bringing the wife and kids next time ???

For whoever picked my Aldi sander - I have finally found the other two pads (round and Delta), and also the paper piercer. They were in the box with the router bits and pieces - where else?
NZ_carver, I seem to remember it was you, and I have also located the Tormek DVD ('cepting I can find where i put it again )
