Chris would have been I think the first forumite I met. I bought or got something off him if I recall LOML being my chauffeur we headed over found the address and the 4x4 track to the shed Sue went with words of how do I get back up that. The view and surrounds Chris enjoys are priceless even if its just bush.
Since then we have bee there twice for GtG's Hillary and Chris are great hosts along with the other fellows I met then like Pat, Nick aka sawdust maker, I-wanna-shed Natahn LOHL Rachael, a couple of others also.

Chris will it back and watch the transformation take place enjoy it as you go

I finished the steel work tonight. I have spent the last fortnight on the sick list with a painful shoulder which all the collective medical knowledge can't be diagnosed. I start panelling it tomorrow to hide the steel if everyone leaves me alone. I promise photos as I go, if I don't Ray will call me names.

Progress has been a bit slow due to shoulder problems but it is now full steam ahead. Tomorrow my chippy neighbour who is between jobs is going to give me a hand to finish the rack part of the job so I can get all the timber off the workshop floor. Not that there is that much of it but it sure clutters up things. I am using every bit of rubbish board that I can find as I am sick of looking at the stuff. Under the bottom shelf will be tool and fastener storage in drawers as shown. I also have some small steel storage cabinets to go under it as well. I had intended to store the MIG under there but BOC do not supply D bottles of gas for MIG so that idea finished up in the bin due to the bottle being too high. I attach pics to prove progress..

Default Some Progress Has Been Made

I knocked this up over the weekend, well a lot of weekends and a lot of week days as well. The open space at the right hand end will be a cupboard with slide out shelves for access. That means I can put a shelf right on the floor and not have to get on hands and knees to find what is on it. The second photo shows how I treated the tools in plastic storage cases. I normally chuck the cases but some need to be stored that way because of what they are or we take them away when we go racing.

Chris, which wall is that on?

Looks like you are missing a couple of handles as well.

All the handles are there it is just the overexposure that hides them. It is on the left as you walk in and covers the steel frame in the earlier posts I made in this thread.

So the wood rack is no more. Looks better anyway.

This was always the plan as I needed more small drawer type storage. The wood rack is the long shelves, not a rack as normally thuoght of I guess. It is more versatile that way also as the timber length does not matter.
