Welcome to the forum, if you don't get any info from here, you could ring up some of the larger timber companies which cut logs down to timber as they probably have someone who does it for them or may know what the procedure is.

Timber Grading
Thanks for your warm welcomes, I have a portable swing blade sawmill and would like to use some of the timber for structural purposes hence my inquiry about timber grading, thanks again for your help.
