Woodcut 250mm x 40mm x 12mm x 280g CBN Wheels
We have finally recieved our delivery of the 250mm CBN wheels that suit the wet grind style grinders, Tormek, Scheppack, Jet or Record.
These wheels are 280g so finer than the standard wheels that come with the Wet grind machines.
One advantage with these wheels is that you do not have to redress them as they dont go out of shape like the standard wheels, so no worries about using them to sharpen your gouges then flatten to sharpen your flat tools.
Another advantage is you can set your jigs to dedicated angles and not have to reset everytime you dress the wheel
Other sizes available for spark grinders as well available in 80 and 180g

My Torment with the new wheel. I had a little bit of difficulty removing the old stone, but some gentle persuasion with a lump hammer and 10mm pin punch . . .

Rod, I put just enough to cover the bottom rim of the new wheel to aid in swarf removal. Gaffa taped a dirt big magnet to the front of the water tank to assist in collecting said swarf.
