Need ideas for roof top mounted camera Bracket
I am going to mount a CCTV camera on my roof to view the city area from a website, I have a camera housing and camera HO-SAH725HB-2 Vandal Proof Housing
weight is about 3KG with camera and its pretty big.
would you consider this mounting bracket setup appropriate for my set up I am wanting?? I want to build a bracket like the attached picture and mount it on top of the ridge capping, take 4 screws out and stick it on and put the screws back in and that should hold it nice and firmly without movement I hope. is it ok?
anyone think of a better way??
what type of metal should I use? aluminium?? mild steel will rust badly.
