Window hinges
I have a 50's Brisbane weatherboard house with timber casement windows which I have started to strip the paint off. The brass? window hinges are a bit worn and the bottom of the windows scrapes on the sill when opening/closing. Are the new hinges the same specs as these and how much should I pay for hinges and what brand and where is the best place to buy these.
Maybe I could try and panel beat them back into shape as the guides have loosened and sagged a lot. Although they still may scrape on the window sill.
Any advice would be helpfully.
Thanks
Dave
