Conflict resolution

There is a town in Peru where at year's end all the folk gather to resolve conflicts.
This is done by having a fist fight with your protagonist: men against men,
women against women and children against children.

When the tumult is over everyone joins in a drinking session so the new year
can begin with a clean slate.

Sounds like a good idea to me!!!

That used to happen up in Mt Isa with the conflicts between tribes. Apparently it worked well, no idea if they are still doing it.
