Minwax Wipe On Poly - After Care
Hi all,
I have looked through the articles on Minwax Wipe On Poly but could not find anything on after care. For any of you Minwax Wipe On Poly gurus, I have just completed a commission of a large dining table with eight chairs and as the client wanted a hand rubbed finish instead of the Danish Oil which I normally use, I chose to use the Minwax Wipe On Poly as I thought it would be more durable. I finally got a great finish on it after some trials. The client has asked me what to use on the table to clean it and to rejuvinate it every now and again. I did not want to tell her to use the wrong product as it might damage the finish, so can anyone in the know recomend what prodcuts for her to use with this finish.
Thanks in advance
Darren

I've used Ubeaut's Traditional wax on wipe on poly without any problems, also used it on Minwax Antique oil, kunos oil, danish oil and on french polishing and surprisingly it really works well on all these finishes.

Try Interior Clear Protective Finishes | Minwax & the Contact Us section. I have found them to be very helpful and responded quickly, but they may already be on the Christmas break.
