Slab First or Last - Garden Shed
I'm putting up a 3x4m garden shed.
There is 600mm between the back and side wall and my fence and I want to concrete that. My mate who is a bit of a guru with all things like this has suggested that I put down a 3.6x4.6 slab first and we can put the shed straight on top by welding plates on to the pillars and dyna bolting to ground. He does great work and I have all confidence in that but I had always envisaged setting the pillars in concrete and adding the slab afterwards.
What do you think? Laying the whole slab before the shed would be easier for the concreters i expect...
