Exterior entrance door - what finish ?
Hi all,
I have just put in a new front door and im not sure how to finish it as there are so many stains on the market. I want to stain it a walnut colour. My question is: can i use an interior stain and then coat it with an exterior laquer. Is there such a thing as exterior stain ? I have used all in one stain-varnish before, but dont like the finish. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Peter

If the door is going to cop the elements then try Intergrain's products. I have a back door that cops the weather and has been coated with an Intergrain finish.....surface is still in good nick after 8 years.
