G'Day & Welcome "to the Great South Land" & to a top forum "Eugene".
There are quite a few members from the USA on the forum as well as across the rest of the world..
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [work in progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers from On Top DownUnder, crowie
PS - I'll have to investigate "Eugene Sexton ESP-90" as I have no idea about it.....

Hi Eugene,
I had the opportunity to make some instruments for you some years ago, persimmon from memory, via Jerry Freeman. The wood behaved quite well during construction, perhaps finishing a little on the furry side, and they played quite well. I hadn't used persimmon beforehand and so couldn't make a comparison between the treated and untreated. A little technique modification in the process probably would take care of the furriness.
I wonder how they have stood up over time? Do you still have them?

I never received your persimmon pieces. Jerry Freeman makes penny whistles so we did connect in the past. Gene
