    Thanks Brett

I've been asked if I am available to be on call for a strike team else where in the state. I assume they mean your region.

The last fire I was on I was there for about 14 days.

Well, the proposed shut down has now been cancelled so I can attend after all. Assuming that the fires are under control and all is well by then.

I am not going to be able to make this get together on the 3rd of November. That weekend is very busy for me.

    No worries Christos.

    TO ALL:
We will not be using the BBQ because it may well be a Total Fire Ban day, so please just bring your non-BBQ lunch. If you want something heated up then we have microwaves and a mini-oven.

If everyone brings a salad then for their lunch could this be called the Green Wood Working Group.

Salad? What is this 'salad' you speak of? What type of meat is it made from?
