Default Darkening a linseed oil finish

    Hi Guys,

I've made a jewellery box out of Jarrah with Hoop Pine drawers for my wife. I've applied a number of coats of the Raw Linseed Oil that looks great on the Jarrah but is too orange on the pine. Is there something I could apply over the linseed oil on the Hoop Pine to achieve a darker finish. I'm a novice and am only just finding my feet so don't want anything too complicated. Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Richard

Hi Richard, maybe put a light coat of Shellac on the pine might help
