    Default Been to long

    Hi Guys

I just received my birthday message from the forum and realised just how long it had been since I visited. Life takes different turn and priorities change. I have had no time to get online with work and home life being hectic but my annual pilgrimage to the wood show will get the creative side of me going again. Lots of projects I could be doing once I clean up the shed. I've been renovating the housed moving walls and adding new spaces. Lots of framing, plastering, plumbing, tiling and wiring. I could have jumped online and got help but just didn't think to. Might have made the job easier especially trying to work out the ensuite loo. Always clocking up with 80mm pipe and not enough fall. Finally solved it with a mascerator but sure one of the forum experts could have made it all easier.

I will catch up with a few of you on Sunday at the Melb show and spend some money on tools that hopefully won't sit on the shelves.

Is the Friday forum still going?

Anyway Gudday to all who know me.

    Cheers

    Benny

    Who are you?

Don't know if the Friday Fred still happens, it is too hard to find now, one of the upgrades made it invisible, even to those who were posting in it.

Yup, but even if you subscribe to the thread, it doesn't show in New Posts or Settings.

    Default I have missed everything!

I'll have to get on more often and keep in touch. I miss you guys.

What new tool should I look for at the wood show? Anything new and exciting?

A nice workbench with vices sounds like the go for my get back into it project. I bought those aluminium vices last year and have never used them.

Benny we miss you long time too. Is that your soap on the floor?

Need to know what to buy at the show? Just ask the forum. What about a post "What is the best pen turning lathe?"? That will get you somewhere.
