Timber slabs from paperbark?
I'm cutting down a decent sized paperbark tree in my yard.
The thickest part of the trunk is probably about 5-600mm dia.
Just wondering if it's worth cutting some slabs from it?
Is paperbark suitable?
It would be nice to make a tabletop or something from a tree that came out of the yard.
If I do, it would be used either indoors or under cover on the back patio.
cheers.
