The TP Holder (a.k.a. Necessary Paper)
A friend living in a typical California tract home, 3BR, 1-1/2 Baths remodeled the half bath into a 3/4 bath. (In US terms a full bath is a throne, sink and a tub with shower. A 3/4 bath has a stall shower but no tub. A 1/2 bath is just the throne and sink.) After all the work was done he discovered that there was no place to put the TP holder. His solution was to use silicone glue to affix the TP holder to the outside wall of the glass enclosed stall shower.
While the TP holder held very well with the silicone glue, there were holes where the decorative screws should go. My friend went to the hardware store and bought some really nice shiny brass screws to fill the holes. Using some wire cutters he clipped the brass screws to just little more than the head and glued them in place with silicone glue.
When anyone would ask how he got the screws to hold in the glass wall of the shower enclosure, his answer was, "I just used some brass self taping glass screws."
Now if there ever a product that needed to be invented . . . . .
