My new stringybark Slab Desk
My first desk was horrible, built in the 80's, and not in a good way.
So I welded together a frame from box steel, nice and light and easy to move around.
I bought the slab off gumtree for a really good price, and used some epoxy resin to hold together the pieces. I made a feature out of it. I'm quite happy with how it all turned out.
The finish is a 2pac epoxy is a car clear coat, it's rock hard, and dead flat. I'm quite happy

Looks great and very functional - and certainly quite sturdy.
