The inventor of circlips and e-clips
If anyone knows where that SOB is, I would very much like to kick them in the groin

No other fastener gives me the irrits more. Even with the correct tools they're a swine to use and re-use.
It's totally got nothing to do with me and everything to do with themEvery time you make a typo, the errorists win.

e-clip
There's nothing like a $0.50 part breaking to bring a car to a halt.
In my case it was on the clutch cable and if the roadside mechanic did not have a spare I would have been stuck.

Hehe. Nah. I've had a long held hatred for these things. It's just that while farting around with my bandsaw over the last couple of weeks to try and remove some vibration problems that I seem to have had constant fights with the buggers and I'm a tad grumpy in general about the whole issue

I think the secret to circlips is having the right tools to remove them and put then on; if this is what you are talking about.
