Newbie looking for reputable builder
Hi, Giday everyone here!
I am a newbie here and need a lots of advice, We have bought a new small villa house (land about 240 m2, settle in early Nov this year) and want to do the following renovation in the sequential order. Please refer to the attached pictures for reference.
1. Install a new Rooftop Breeair Evapourative Cooler units with 6 outlets.
2. Replace all ceiling lights to LED down lights and power outlets.
3. Open up wall between Family and Dining, relocate Air conditioning unit in Dining room.
4. Close up Kitchen by building partition wall and sliding door (with opaque glass panel) between Dining room and kitchen.
5. Replace 3 BIR doors with sliding type, build new small window at the Common toilet and bathroom.
6. Convert Laundry room into a small study room by relocating the sink and washing machine to the backyard, i.e. build the sink and washing machine concrete footings.
Replace the two doors with the sliding type.
7. Option1. Replace all three Bedroom carpet flooring, Kitchen, dining room and family flooring with solid Bamboo flooring. OR
Option2. Replace all three Bedroom carpet flooring with solid Bamboo flooring, Keep existing Family room flooring, replace Kitchen and dining room tile flooring with
compatible timber flooring type to the family room flooring type.
8. Build small strips of decking (paving) outdoor and shades at the west side of the house.
9. Relocate current pine panel fence and door from East facing to North facing.
10. Replace current north pine panel fencing to match with the Picket fencing type.
Based on the above list, please advise if it is better to get one builder to undertake all work or if it is better to get Specialise Contractors to take on items 1,2,8,9 and 10 to achieve 'best in class' results?
We would appreciate very much if anyone can recommend any well reputable builder(s) to undertake the project. Thanks! Jack.
