Hi Folks, Hope I'm posting this in the right spot.

I'm turning a snooker cue in Canadian Ash and wondering the best method for finishing it. I would like to accentuate the grain (ie; make it look darker) but still retain the light colour of the rest of the wood... The cue's I have already really show the dark grain and have a super smooth (almost waxy look).

Any products or advice would be most welcome.
