Handi-Blocks for shed foundation
Hi All,
Although I'm building an outdoor sauna and not a garden shed I thought it should be posted here as it's a similar construction and the only difference is what's inside.
I have a gently slopping area and initially planned to dig 8 holes, pour concrete and put stirrups but now thinking about handi blocks as it seems to be much easier solution. I found one post here on the forum http://www.renovateforum.com/f196/fl...stralia-97563/ about using them as footings for a deck and it was suggested not to do so.
As it's been 2 years since that post I was wondering if any one here used them?
The sauna would be around 2.5x2.1m and shouldn't weight more than 250kg without people inside. It would be for 4-5 people so additional weight would around 350kg max.
Thanks,
Tommy
