Default Mini Mig gas hose adaptor

    Hi,

I have read about how you can get adaptors to go from 4mm to 5/8" connection for regulators for large gas bottles.

Does anyone know anywhere in Australia that sells them ? I have seen the bossweld one on the dynaweld site but was wondering if there were any others.

    Thanks

Its probably easier to make one yourself
Just get the the fitting from any welding shop and use a small piece of 5mm hose the 4mm small hose will clamp nicely into it

    Default adapter

    Hello ,
you may be best off to adapt down with pushfit type fittings for pneumatic lines. I recently used a mini-mig set up in this fashion. They had used two different fittings but you may well be able to reduce down in a single step as the regulator should have a b.s.p. thread in it and the mig will have 4 or 6 mm nylon tube to connect to it's gas bottle.
