Wall framing advice
Hello all,
I am hoping to get some advice on determining stud dimensions, grades etc as well as lintel lengths? I understand this has to do with RLW, CLW etc and can be worked out using AS1684 but don't have access to it.
I am designing and costing out an extension then going to a draftsman. In the mean time would like to know if I should be costing 90x35 or 90x45, mgp10 or F5? Also when does a lintel need to go through to the next stud? And not stop at the first?
I know it's not as simple as what I'm asking with many factors contributing to the end result but just hoping for some direction.
Cheers
